if you couldn't make our wreaths + rosé workshop, you missed out, but don't worry. there's always next year! it was a DIYer's dream and we're so thankful for such an amazing group who showed up for good old fashioned wreath-making fun. here are few highlights.
we were lucky enough to take over ma3, the rooftop space at the langford - an adorably chic boutique hotel in downtown miami. they closed off the bar and rooftop area for our wreath fest, and served delicious Asian-inspired brunch bites. you need to try the steamed buns. they're AMAZING!
after grabbing a bite and a big glass of wine, guests were given their wreath supplies - floral shears, victorian birch and LOTS of foliage. our friends at amuse décor hooked us up with gorgeous farm tables and chairs.
melanie guided the group through the basics. curve. tie. snip. repeat. in between, guests shopped beauty counter products and noshed on organic desserts from elsie's flour shop. you haven't lived until you've tried elsie's strawberry rose mini cakes.
the finished product
each guest walked away with a hand-made holiday wreath, adorned with fresh flowers and their favorite foliage.
besides a pre-holiday celebration, the purpose of the event was to help sponsor city year's after school program. if you don't know city year, they provide resources to schools in high-poverty communities. with the help of the workshop and our holiday wreath sales, we were able to give middle school children a holiday crafting party they'll remember forever.
there's more where that came from
we might have started early this year, but we're far from finished with the holidays. we're still pumping out wreaths and curating holiday gifts like crazy. so if you haven't finished your decorating or shopping, we've got you covered.
in other holiday news, if your wreath could use a pick-me-up, check out our wreath refresh option. if you love that handmade look, but the whole DIY thing is just not happening, we'd be happy to take florals off your to do list with our affordable event a la carte menu.
stay tuned for more holiday updates and a full recap of city year's holiday craft party.
